Automatic Uploading via Android OS

My wife has an Motorola Droid Pro and when ever I take a photos or capture video with her phone it automatically uploads to my Pogoplug. That does not happen with my Motorola Bionic. I have to upload them one at a time...I'm not doing that. I was so happy to get my Pogoplug Series 4 for Xmas...the excitement is gone. This thing is slow and I have my house hardwired so I don't have it on a wireless connection.

This auto upload feature works fine on my phone with the master pogoplug account. My wife's phone does not even give the option for auto upload. Is there something I need to enable or change permissions?

android app suggestions

Hi, I really like the new feature in the app which auto-syncs my photos/videos (under /sdcard/DCIM recursively) to the pogoplug. Here are some suggesions for improvement. 1. the option to specify a specific wifi SSID on which to sync with. with this I would be able to sync only when I am on my home network which is usually what I prefer. 2. the option to specify additional folders to monitor. I use eye-fi and by default, eye-fi stores images/videos under /sdcard/Eye-Fi which is not scanned by the pogoplug app. 3. the option to specify a file size limit on what gets sync'ed. i took a couple of minutes of video on HD and it ended up being over 100MB. I'd rather not sync that over the air. I think you guys should really get the word out on the new mobile features of the app. you should have an android blog (androidcentral, androidguys, droidlife, etc) do a review with the new photo sync stuff.

Limit to Number of Folders within a Folder?

I'm still using the Android App Version 4.0.7.17 and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit to the number of folders allowedwithin one folder. The reason I ask is that I have a folder for my Music and 343 separate folders withing that one music folder. However, on that Android App, I can only see 312 folders. On both the Pogoplug Software on my PC and via the web, ALL folders are there. Can anybody shed any light on this for me please? I have tried refreshing the app and logging out and back in again, but error is still there. Thanks for any advice and Happy New Year to you all.

I have a Toshiba Thrive and I can send a file to the Thrive but I can't figure out how to send a file from the thrive. I use dropbox and when I tap a file it will give me the option to share. Click share and it gives me several options to save the file to. One is dropbox. I have not figured out how to copy a file to pogo. Works great from pogo to thrive but just can't figure out how to copy a file from the thrive to pogo. thanks; vogner
[Read more]
