I would like to share files on an attached USB flash drive using Window File Sharing (CIFS).

The forum posts seem confusing about what is the best way to accomplish my goal? It mentions OpenPogo, Plugapps, Arch Linux ARM etc.

What is the best-easiest method to accomplish that goal?

Thank You

If you want to keep web access via my.pogoplug.com, install Optware. If you only need local access, ArchLinuxArm. These are the best methods to accomplish your goal, but may not be easy depends on you Linux skill.

I would like to retain web access via my.pogoplug.com, so the Optware solution sounds like my best option.

Can you point me to some good tutorials on the best way to install Optware?
I am somewhat above a Linux newbie, but certainly not an expert by any means.
Hopefully the tutorials will have enough detail that I could try and learn what the various commands are accomplishing.

The Pogoplug devices would be far more useful if it was easy to add additional
features to the standard uses.

Thank you for your reply.
