I have the same problem.
Hey all - I've got both a physical pogoplug and the software running on my laptop - starting about 2-3 days ago, the pogoplug software on my laptop went offline, and no matter what I do I can't get it go back online.
I've tried restarting, disabling/re-enabling remote access - but still nothing. The computer is shown as offline on the website. I've also tried changing networks thinking that maybe it was my work network/firewall - but I got the same results at home where it used to work (on a FIOS network).
Anybody have any ideas? What should I try next?

I have the same problem...don't understand why the only comments are "me too." One clue is that the program seems to want an attached drive, but I thought the reason we installed pogoplug was to make our local drives part of the "cloud." I'm lost...???
In the Pogoplug Uploader > Preferences > Remote Access you need to select which folders on your computer to enable for remote access.
You probably don't want everything on your computer's HD to be available remotely so they allow you to decide exactly what you want available.
