Is there a way to setup file (or even folder) shares on the original Pogoplug or the Pogoplug v4 so that the files are Read Only.
We have a need to store/share a few hundred photographs but want the people with whom we share them to be able to only view them, NOT donwload them. Is this possible?
I don't believe this option is available on either of the 2 models you mentioned. It used to be a feature available on the Biz model, although I'm not sure if the feature is still available today. Hope that helps.

I tried it on a PogoPlug Biz but could never get it to work right; additionally it was a royal pain to setup users so they could just go and look at/browse files. I would like to add this as a feature request for upcoming upgrades to the device(s). Other than this "desire" I find the products great and have a lot of use for them - remote backup, remote file access etc
Anything new on this issue from PogoPlug tech SUpport or Development?
Can you guys put it on a wish list. Any answer wqould be appreciated
