This only works with 2.5" drives. I Had to uncase my seagates and remove a small portion of the bottom of the cases with the dremmel(You can then recase them) to get the cable to fit. The 1TB Seagate Go works great. The 3.5" 2TB GoFlex desk I have didn't work with this as it wouldn't power up. I am assuming since the 2.5" drives don't use the 12V portion of the power that the pogoplug doesn't have it connected to the power line side of the connecter. I plan to get seperate cables for the power and data, and pump the power over from the USB 2.0 base it came with.
