It looks like you have turned on the whole root (drive) in the Preferences > Remote access setting.
You would want to list each individual folder you want to see IE, Movies, Music, Photo Archive, separately and then it will ignore anything not setup.

With my Macs, I am using a Pogoplug series 4 with a USB 2.0 HD and while I am not experiencing any setup issues, all the usually invisible files and folders on this drive are conspicuosly visible in the "Pogoplug Uploader", the web interface, the desktop Pogoplug HD image, and on the iPhone mobie app. Needless to say this is a type of chaotic clutter I usually do not have to deal with using any of my Macs.
Here is a screen capture of what I am seeing in the "Pogoplug Uploader" the usually "invisible" files/folders are circled in red.
If you have a solution for removing the clutter it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Brandon.
I just added a SATA drive with fresh initializing and formated as Mac OS extended (Journaled) and all is clean and simple, with no evidence of my complaint.
So I suspect I should probably transfer the data off the problematic drive and reformat to see if that fixes the issue with that drive.
