I have a Toshiba Thrive and I can send a file to the Thrive but I can't figure out how to send a file from the thrive. I use dropbox and when I tap a file it will give me the option to share. Click share and it gives me several options to save the file to. One is dropbox. I have not figured out how to copy a file to pogo. Works great from pogo to thrive but just can't figure out how to copy a file from the thrive to pogo.

thanks;

vogner

This is the method I currently use to do what you're describing: http://www.pogoplugged.com/forum/thread/16769/-Share-to-Pogoplug-in-Android/#...

As far as I know, the option to do this is not yet available...but then again, I haven't upgraded my Android app in a little while so I could be wrong...

I appreciate the reply. That would work. This lets me know that pogoplug does not have this option at this time. To go from the thrive to pogoplug this option is needed. From the method that you use gives me an idea.

go from the thrive to dropbox and that will put the file on my laptop then go from dropbox on the laptop to pogoplug. Going around my elbow to get to my thumb but I think it will be safer.
I would rather use pogoplug than dropbox because I have a large hard drive connected and can store my mp3's and movies. Maby pogoplug support will see the need and put this in an update and make it easier to go from the android tablet to pogoplug.again thanks for the info. Maby one or the other ideas will help someone with the same question.

thanks; later;

In Pogoplug settings, go to "Upload Settings"
Select the folder you wish to designate for files from your Android device.
Then when you click on share from the gallery (or wherever) share the file via e-mail and send it to "upload@mypogoplug.com". As long as the e-mail comes from your registered pogoplug address it should go to that folder.
