they will provide you with a way to get the log files, and they should be able to help you with this issue
I have installed the desktop version on my windows 7 machine, logged in with my account, and added a couple of folders that are on network shares (it let me do this, and I didn't get an error or anything).
In the remote desktop list it shows a folder that has a bunch of photos in it.
But when I go to my.pogoplug.com I am not seeing any of my photos...
