I'm running Win7x64, is there a way to access Pogoplug via Windows File Manager?  On help it said there was an option in settings to map a drive letter but I can't locate it and wonder if it's not an option with v4?

Download & Install this remote software.  It will do what you need.

Sarah,

I have that software. I can find nothing that helps me assign a drive letter (the software is very basic, almost pathetically so).

Is there a toggle somewhere that makes it useful? Please advise.

Install software >> on taskbar in toolbar tay right click on pogoplug icon and you will get this menu.

Select Open Pogoplug Preferences and get this screen.

That explains it... completely different software from the "manager" that installed when I set up my device. I'm guessing this is the same problems others are having. Thank you, Sarah!
