Ever since I installed it, I cannot see my local drives .

It only shows the cloud storage.

I am tired of fighting it.

The end of Pogoplug is near.

Do not waste your money buying more of this or

recommending it to your friends.

Others experiencing this problem, please join me

in letting Pogoplug management about this.

Just to be clear are you speaking of Pogoplug Software available at http://pogoplug.com/expansion or Pogoplug Uploader available at http://pogoplug.com/downloads?

Have you already contacted Support about your recent issues? If so, please let us know your ticket number and we'll take a closer look at this.

What about people that want to use their pogoplug device but don't want to make their computer into a pogoplug and don't want all the extra bloat that comes with that? when are you going to update the old software so i can just connect to my pogoplug?

Hi Paladin252,

For the time being, the drive application component that mounts your Pogoplug Cloud, Pogoplug attached drives or Pogoplug enabled computer will remain integrated in a Pogoplug software suite.

Right now, we're working on integrating the drive application and Remote Access in Pogoplug Uploader.

Can we get a demo version of the software? I ask to shimi and sent an email to beta pogo plug email, but..i haven't receive any answer at least to say NO.

I would like to collaborate checking bugs or providing ideas.

Beta versions must come from our team so we correctly monitor progress and isolate issues.

I got the old version from a Pogoplug tech. Half of the time it never connects to my drives. The new version is junk. Why would I want to share all the drives on my PC if it is not powered up 24/7.

ARE YOU KIDDING???? how long have people been complaining about this product

I liked the idea of pogoplug at first
the product was hard as hell to install and confusing
to troubleshoot - forget support they are useless
once I got it going it was great
the very first versions of the software were really ROCKING

(I have since then figured out how to install
POGOPLUG first time, everytime - And I did not get the information from POGOPLUG support
I don't think anyone in the company knows OR CARES there is a bug with the installation. It is a specific bug related to new computers or computers that have been recently restored after a crash)

then the updates started happening
each update F#<Ked up everything,
I had ITpeople and non ITpeople on the network
It was a mess updating and getting everyone back online each time


I don't understand the changes
I don't understand the non contiguous updates
I don't understand the extreme lack of qualified support

I had a lot of people wanting to buy the POGOPLUG
because of all the great features
But POGOPLUG put a stop to that by releasing updates
that were just embarrassing... I have since told everyone
to stay the HELL away from POGOPLUG

POGOPLUGs software people and technical support should quit
and go work for federal govt and become politicians... GOVT is the only place
that their skills will be fully appreciated
