Uninstalling Pogoplug Software using Control Panel will cleanly uninstall the application and various drivers and dependencies.
However, the index file .ceid and index folder .cedata will need to be manually removed from the root of each folder, partition or drive you added to the Remote Access tab in Pogoplug Preferences.
Hope this makes sense.

I am thinking of not using my pogoplug for several reasons. If I remove the software from my Windows 7 PC, will it also remove the metadata that is scattered all over my drives?

for some reason I can not uninstall the pogoplug, while I try the pogoplugpc and uninstall it, now there is no pogoplug product shown in control panel, but I still have pogoplugbackup running, how can I manually completely uninstall pogoplug, when I try to reinstall pogoplugbackup 5.0, it give me error of dokance.dll, refuse to finish the reinstall.
please let me know how to completely uninstall pogoplug product from my pc so I can start use it again.
