I have a folder with jpg files in it that I used to be able to share, making my own device a place to store photos for use in ebay auctions.  It no longer works.

After making numerous inquiries, I finally got an answer from support indicating that this very useful feature (in my view) has been removed.

... there was the shared link [feature] with the EMBED code for use with an html file to reference a photo or document before the update but currently [since we improved the website and software] we do not have the feature.

This feature was great, I told several people how useful it was, and now Cloud computing sas "we do not have the feature" -- you did, it worked, now they broke it.

Why?

There has been discussion here about that. I don't have the link handy but they have responded and are looking into adding it back in.

In the mean time if you goto dockstar.pogoplug.com you can still access the old interface which allows this.

For example I just added a pic there from the cloud setup, not my Pogoplug hard drive so you can do it either way.

Ya, they are having a limited time sale on the Pogoplug.. Smile

Hi Brandon,

Yup, I grabbed this from the images (I used this on an eBay auction)

eBay photo

Another issue is the but in showing shares by e-mail. I have 10 different e-mail to which I share things, and this site shows all 10, but the my.pogoplug.com site only shows 4 of the 10, another broken feature.

So how long will it take them to break these pages?
