I have installed the new cloud software and I seem to be missing some of the features that I have come to count on with the old software.

1. I want my Pogoplug to show up as drive P: . This software does not seem to give me any drive letter.

2. With "Active Synch" I want to look at a screen and tell the progress of my file copying. This software just seems to do its copying without any progress notices to the user.

3. The software does not seem to run automatically when I boot up the computer. I would like it to do that so that the sunching happens automatically in the background without me having to start it each time.

I agree! I would hope it has native connectivity like drop pox mac os integration or some sort of sync notification.

Well, I decided that this new-fangled software was not how I wanted to use my Pogoplug. I had to go all the way back to version 2.2.5 to get the features I need (I hated version 3).

That is frustrating that the new software can't keep good features from the old software.

can anyone shed light on the sync cycle of the pogo plug navigator software for mac? Non of my folders sync after initial folder selection. is it on a timer or when software starts? i wish there was a sync now option.

Hi Ark,

Sync in Uploader is designed to detect if the file name, size or timestamp are different and when the containing folder is left untouched for 60 seconds, will sync to your Pogoplug.

my problem is the software is not syncing my files. it uploads everything just fine, but nothing syncs afterwards, its very frustrating. on a mac... any insight on why the pogo plug software is not syncing my folders?

Hi Ark,

If your sync isn't working as I described previously, and if you haven't already please contact Support and one of our terrific agents will help isolate the issue.

Sign In to my.pogoplug.com and 'Submit a support ticket' using 'Help Center'. Let them know if you see any error messages and how you've verified the changed file(s) haven't been updated.

I have a Mac and am having the same problem as Ark.
Initial upload works well but then does not synch afterwards.
Tried contacting support but still not understand why 'synch idle' continues to appear and my files are not synched.
is this a general problem?

The feature I have lost is the File Server:
I want to be able to save select picture files on my PogoPlug and allow my personal web site to display those files as though they are part of the web page. It USED to be the "Get Link" option, but now the provided link just point5s to a page that has a "Download" button on it.
Anybody find the new way to do it?
