Using Safari 5.1.1 on a Mac.  Tried uploading a small PDF - worked OK.  Since then I've tried uploading a small movie file (98MB) and an MP3 music file.  Neither worked, the uploader just sat there doing nothing.  No upload activity showing on my iStat Menu monitor.  Is there some unmentioned file size limit, or something else going on?

Thx

Hi blodwyn,

If the flash uploader is not working properly (it can be temperamental in my experience), work arounds you might try:

-Disable flashing: Safari Toolbar > Preferences > Security > Uncheck 'enable plug-ins'. Now the non flash uploader will appear for you and should work better.

-Using a different browser such as Firefox

-Clearing browser cache and trying again, sometimes this can help.

hi everybody

i have upload problems from the web page too.
some files are not uploaded at all, others only a very small part of the file.
two different machines, one with microsoft ie 8, the other firefox 3.6.11
files seemingly uploaded ok, but file sizes are shrinked to 2 kb - from originally about 180 kb or 2 mb. after downloading pictures i can see only the top line of the picture. excel and pdf files won't open at all.
i uploaded a 700 mb iso file - that took about 3 hours. when i download that file it downloads in a second and file size is 0kb.

in both cases michaels' advice to disable flash solved the problem. files are uploading completely, the downloaded files are intact.

i'm about to purchase the pogoplug device and used the pogoplug cloud to try the service. this uploading bug doesn't really bother me as long as the download works straight and simple. i need to send files to colleagues, friends and family members - without needing to explain grandma how to disable plugins.

thanks michael,blodwyn

I've notified the product development team about these uploader issues.

Thanks for your comments HaZZarDaZZle.
