Hi,

I have an iphone and installed the pogoplug app to sync my pics and vids onto the pogoplug device i have just purchased. I have configured the app to backup to the device and not the cloud. However where does this data get stored? I have looked at the folders on my hard drive which is attatched to the pogoplug device but I dont see any new folders created? Not even in the usual 'my pictues or my videos' folders.

Can anyone advise pls?? Cheers

Photos from your iPhone goto "photos" folder and the subfolders are sorted by year and month. Same for "videos"

How did you configure the app to backup photos/videos to a device? I just got the Buffalo CloudStor 2TB x2. The iphone and ipad apps only give me the option to save to the cloud.

I should mention I signed up to the pogoplug cloud before I bought the device, and then registered the device to that account. Not sure if that's why I am only seeing the cloud option for my apps.

Thanks!

with the pogoplug diviceses you go to settings>destnations and select the device you want to use, cloud or a drive attached to your Pogoplug

Settings>Destinations only list the Pogoplug Cloud as an option. A buddy of mine has the pogoplug 4 device, and he is able to see his other drives in that location. With the Buffalo CloudStor this option just doesn't appear.

I was wondering if there are any other settings that might fix this.

Thanks!
