If one of my friends tries to drag a folder from the 'files shared with me' drive to their desktop, they get an unexpected error message.

If they try to download a folder using the web interface, it crashes the client on my machine, locking EVERYBODY out.

Utter garbage.

May as well go back to FTP, at least it works.

Hi Threlly

This is Christopher, head of Customer Outreach here at Pogoplug.

Your experience is definitely NOT what we intend.

If you haven't given up on Pogoplug yet, please sign in to my.pogoplug.com and 'Submit a support ticket' using 'Help Center'; submitting a request in this way captures valuable diagnostic information that helps Support get a jump start on resolving your issue.

Kind Regards,

Christopher

on behalf of the Pogoplug Team

I have done Christopher, so far no joy.
They have me mapping ports through both my software & hardware firewalls.
It's made no difference.

To be honest, I started out with Pogoplug Hardware, the mk1 unit, that was flaky at best, then updates and support virtually disappeared when the new hardware came out.
So, I bought a small Atom based PC and bought the premium software instead, and here we are.

Frankly, I've had enough, I've put more money into Pogoplug than I should, my
D-Link ShareCenter Pulse DNS-320 NAS server arrived this morning.
I will de-commission the PC/Pogoplug within the week.
I will forward the FTP drive mapping instructions to my associates and soon after resign Pogoplug to history.

It's been fun.
