I see my Pogoplug device (pink one) has been updated to the new 3.2.3 version. I can't find changelog.

Do you know what was updated?

Hi adek,

Sorry we're a little behind on documentation; we'll be taking care of this as soon as possible. Your pink Pogoplug has been updated with following major changes:

  • compatibility with newer 3TB drives
  • compatibility with iOS and Android's auto-upload feature - videos will be transcoded on your desktop before uploading both the orignal an encoded video file.
  • compatibility with Pogoplug Browser's video upload feature - videos will be transcoded on your desktop before uploading both the orignal an encoded video file.

Kindest Regards,

Thanks. But there is a problem with this version.
When I switch off and then turn on device - I can't see my drives.
Yesterday I've got the same problem.

I'm away and to fix it I need to unplug my drive and restart pogo.

Hi adek,

Do you turn off your Pogoplug regularly? We intended you to leave you Pogoplug on 24/7; after all it only draws 5 watts of power. Upon attachment of your USB drive(s) or after a power cycle or unexpected power interruption to your Pogoplug, Pogoplug does run check disk before making drive(s) available at my.pogoplug.com. The good news is Pogoplug is designed to recover from temporary interruptions in power or the USB connection but the check disk process may take some time.

By the way, 'hot' unplugging drives is not recommended - first login to my.pogoplug.com and click the grey arrow icon next to the name of your drive to safely eject BEFORE physically detaching your drive.

If you are safely ejecting your drive(s) but your drives still don't appear at my.pogoplug.com upon attachment, please contact Support - they can help you out. Login to my.pogoplug.com, and 'Submit a support ticket' using 'Help Center'.

Yes. My pogoplug is automatically turned off by night. And everything was ok. What's wrong with this new version. I'm at home now. Pogoplug don't see my drive. Everything is ok with my drive.

It shouldn't happen. I reccommended Pogoplug to my friends. They are having the same problem now. It's not my drive.

Hi adek,

Thanks for you update.

If you haven't already, please 'Submit a support ticket' using 'Help Center'. This captures valuable system diagnostics so Support can get a jump start on finding the root cause.

Hi mookie kong,

We don't have a confirmed release date for updating Pro's but these Pogoplug devices are next in the line for the update.

Hi Jonathan,

If you haven't already, please write beta@pogoplug.com and we'll get you updated to production firmware.

Our beta lead will have more information about your XBox question as well.
