I ran into this when I wanted to playback a video on my Evo 4g. But I got this pop up message on Pogoplug app.

"Cannot play video - Please install a video player that supports 'video/mp4'"

I played the same video file before just fine a few hours prior to this.

Answer?

I have an Evo 4g too and it plays all video formatos I've thrown at it. There are a several free video player apps on the Market you can download. My personal favorite is VPlayer, but you of those that I have tried I know that mVideo Player, Mobo Player and MXVideo Player all work for mp4, m4v, avi and mkv video formats. I never bother with the transcoding on my Pogoplug; rather I just use the free program HandBrake to make them around 700mb size files (mp4 format) and then watch them remotely through my PP. Cheers, hope it works for you!

Well, first, I think it's best to set realistic expectations. It's a phone first and foremost.... A camera (ESPECIALLY a ffc) is really just icing on the cake.
