Hi Charroux,
Which media player are you using?
We did test XBox360, PS3 and a few Internet enabled TV's.
Kind Regards,
Christopher

My media player can't see more than 20 files or folders at a time on my Pogoplug over a hardwired LAN. It always cuts off at exactly 20. I can see all the files on my PC and from my mediaplayer through my shared Pogoplug drives on my wireless PC. I need to access via wired LAN for fastest speed. I've tried one drive at a time, rebooting my PC, reinstalling the software, renaming the drives, and deleting the cache folders/files off the USB drives, but nothing helps. What can I do?
I am using a Pogoplug (POGO-E02 Pink 3.x software) with the Xbox sharing set on. I have multiple USB drives (both NTFS and FAT) attached.
Customer support already said that they don't officially support much of anything. The product claims "Access and stream content directly to most media players, including Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Internet-enabled televisions," which is total deception. "Most" means streaming to TVs over your ISP, not over LAN, so 1080p and most 720p HD streaming is totally impossible. Just about every other USB NAS is LAN compatible on all devices, but not Pogoplug. Pogoplug hardware should be avoided like the plague.
Hi Charroux
We'll forward you comments to Support.
Pogoplug's streaming feature uses a subset of the UPnP protocol which streams ONLY over the LAN.
Nonetheless, Pogoplug may simply not be compatible with your particular media player. Should you decide to return your Pogoplug, our retail partners honor the same 30 day return policy we offer through our own web store.
Kind Regards,
Christopher
My POGO-21 appears as a uPnP device but will not stream files properly, neither to Window 7 Media Center (as a uPnP client), to XBMC running on Windows XP, nor to a Grace Digital Audio Solo media streamer.
All these clients work fine either with Windows 7 Media Center running as a server or with with the Asset uPnP (audio only) server running on my XP machine. Either of these servers can run using the Pogoplug as shared LAN drive, but as Charroux notes, the point was /is to stream directly from Pogoplug without leaving a PC running.
