I shared a folder with a friend, and she received the message with the link.

After entering & confirming her password, she checked the Terms & Conditions CheckBox, and was directed to the Terms & Conditions page.  After scrolling to the bottom, the "I Accept" link is still inactive.

I tried the same thing with one of my test eMail addresses, and I was able to complete the initial sign-on without encountering this issue.

What could cause the problem my friend is experiencing, and what is the remedy?

If this was with the Chrome browser this problem should now be resolved.

This is still broken on EVERY ONE of my browsers on EVERY ONE of my PC's! I reported this issue on a support ticket two weeks ago and was told they duplicated the problem and it would be fixed in the next update.

Can someone please tie up the lawyers so they stop hurting people and change the T&C dialog back to SIMPLE PLAIN OLD HTML so we can actually use this stupid product??? I can't believe this is not fixed already!!

I opened up another support ticket yesterday after posting this, and was told that the cloudstor.pogoplug.com site wasn't yet updated, but the my.pogoplug.com site was. I happen to own a Buffalo Cloudstor, so I had been using the cloudstor site when sending out share URL's. I edited the URL to change "cloudstor" to "my" and it worked. I also note that this evening (10/26) the cloudstor site seems to be working as well. There was something funny with the HTML code for the scrollable text box within the T&C dialog that (hopefully) is now permanently fixed. I also happened to apply a firmware update to the Cloudstor (pogoplug) software running on the device last night, though I don't think this would affect the T&C dialog served up from the pogoplug.com website, so I'm not thinking that my firmware update fixed it.

I'm very happy with the device overall, but do want to make the statement that for those of us that want to use the device to share more securely with friends or clients and require that they login, this "outage" caused by the T&C HTML update made the devices somewhat useless for more than two weeks. I'd like to suggest in the future that any HTML changes made that are mandatory for access to the shared files be THOROUGHLY regression tested on multiple browsers, versions and operating systems. I did enough testing the day I discovered it to show that it was very obviously flawed HTML code that caused the outage.
