On my PC running 2.5.9.5 I have one big media folder with individual files and folders in it. Listing the contents of the media folder shows all the indiv files first A to Z, then it lists the folders Z to A so there is an A to Z to A effect similar to what you mention.
On my Android running 4.0.5.4 I see the files to a point and after displaying a few hundred indiv files it just hangs on "loading more files". This makes the Android version pretty unusable for me.
Does anyone else have this issue with the contents of your folders no longer in alphabetical? I have a folder for video media and it begins to list in alphabetical order and then starts again with A in the middle of the list and repeats this throughout my folder. I checked to see if it was listing the videos by date, but there is no chronological date sequence either. I had no issue with the old Android app version...and am currently still using it until this is fixed. The old version also allowed me to search. The present version doesn't have this option, such that I have to scroll those some 200 plus files to look for a give file indexed out of alphabetical order.
Update on last post:
Finally after 10 mins or so it does show all the files and folders on Android 4.0.5.4 and they are just like the PC version: first individual files A to Z and then folders Z to A.
Updated to version 4.0.7.17 and it behaves the same way.
If I view my drives I see everything in alphabetical order. When I view my audio files from Jukebox, the artist names or album names are in alphabetical order, but the songs inside the album are all out of order. They are neither alphabetical nor in track order.
Yes, so this is not just a single user issue. I hope the Pogoplug technicians are reading these forum issues and will reply with at least a comment. Now that Pogoplug has released their PP mobile device, you would think that this would be addressed. After all, it really defeats the purpose of accessing files on your mobile device if you make it difficult to scroll through with no order, alphabetic or chronologic. Moderator... some feedback please! Thanks.
