First of all, let us reassure you we do not in fact have access to your data. None of your data on your Pogoplug's attached drive is stored or backed up on the Pogoplug Service. Your data always remains safe and sound at home. You can easily confirm this by simply unplugging power from your Pogoplug; you will no longer have access to your media and data using my.pogoplug.com or any of our software clients.

While your Pogoplug is online, only hardware level diagnostics are available to Engineering and your Support agent, so that we can in fact diagnose kernel level usb i/o errors you describe here. Again, we do not have designs on your data (nor are we associated with the U.S. government, I might add).

As for Pogoplug Business' advanced features, we are sorry our implementation does not meet your expectations and we completely understand if you'd like to return your Pogoplug Business.

We'll contact the Support team on your behalf to help facilitate a full refund.
