BTW, why not have netatalk/afpd there as well. How many NAS devices out there _don't_ have afpd built in for Mac/Unix users? (answer: not many)

I've never quite had a use for appletalk/bonjour, but if it's easy to implement why not!
I agree, FTP or samba comaptibilty is a must have imho.
In general it would be nice if the pogoplug was usable without an internet connection. I don't quite understande why CE decided to turn this thing into a brick of plastic when offline.
On another note: Making it possibly to write Plug Ins and get addidtional functionality via PlugIns or CEs own repo would be really cool.
