I have a few issues with my Pogoplug device (Seagate FreeAgent DockStar)
1. When I create a folder or filename that uses all capital letters for its name, it automatically gets changed to all lowercase. This is an issue because I want to store my DVD library there but my Linux based player won't recognise the folder as a DVD unless the VIDEO_TS folder and corresponding files are all caps.
2. When I disconnect and reconnect my drives, the pogoplug forgets the settings accossiated with them. So if I use the drive elsewhere or if I loose power, I have to go back into the website to activate Media Sharing and all that stuff. Sometimes the WFS share information gets retained, but I often have to set that back up again.
Any suggestions?
Edit: The lowercase conversion thing is only happening on my FAT32 drive. It's not happening on my NTFS drive at all. I'd love to convert it to NTFS, however I use that drive to backup my PS3, and that'll only work with FAT32 drives.

Update: After some experiementing I found that the folders themselves are not being altered, just how they are being displayed on the network/website.
ie. the VIDEO_TS folder gets displayed as video_ts, but it still exists in its correct form on the disk. If you go to move or copy that folder somewhere using explorer, or the mypogoplug site, the new version will be all lowercase because as it reads the source, it thinks that's how everything is named.
This is a really sloppy bug, and I hope it can get fixed soon.
