you have to share a folder on your pogoplug and give her full access to it. then send the link in an email to her email account. if she can browse the link, she can use the web interface to upload a file.
once she uploads it, the file will be located on your Pogoplug and whether her computer is on or not will not matter but you should still be able to access the files since they should be at your location.
how long it takes depends on what the upload speed of her internet is rated for. also, how big the pictures are is a factor. most upload speeds are about .5 to 4 mb per second. so if she is sending a file that is about 100 mb, it could take atleast 20-25 minutes. so keep the pictures small for best results-cut the resolution down.
goodluck!

I am the owner of the Pogoplug. My sister, who doesn't have the Pogoplug wants to upload files. If she uploads them, where does she upload them to? Where are they being stored?
Also, when she uploads them, does that mean that she can turn off her computer and I can still access her uploaded files?
Does it take a long time to upload a lot of pictures? She's concerned about how much bandwidth this will use.
