Will the following activecopy usage scenario work:

  • 2 Friends have Pogoplugs (registed with their own credentials) with small drives attached
  • I have a 2TB hooked up to my Pogoplug (registered with my own credentials)

Could they create a Share to a folder called backup and setup activecopy with that folder to a folder on my connected drive? or would they have to add me as a user on their pogoplugs? (we would all have pogoplug pro)

Thanks for any information.

I believe you would need to have admin access on all the Pogoplugs. You can't do it with a shared drive.
They could probably get the PC/Mac software and use a backup program to copy from their Pogoplug drive to your shared drive.
