Good news everyone, upload from our android devices is back along with the ability to create a folder. I'm checking it out now to see how everything works. Let me and others know what you think.

Finally a feature has been put back that was already on there months ago. Should we really be that happy?
I am still having issues on my HTC Desire here in the UK:
Unable to Stream WMA encoded music files - No Improvement with 4.0.5.4
Still NO ALBUM ART - Again worked OK on the old style App
Still - Unable to Move to SD Card - (Criminal these days on a phone that is renowned for having low memory). - Again, on the old App, it was moveable.
Last but not least - STILL NO SEARCH FACILITY.

All these important functions have been available on a previous version that worked flawlessly for me.

Makes me wonder if we'll have a version that pleases everybody.

Why would someone replace a good working version with a version that is obviously still in beta stages. The old version, although not flashy, did what was expected of it. The new version should be an improvement, right?
Offer the new version as a beta but don't totally replace the old version. Not until the new version is finished.
This is just my opinion... I love my pogoplug and this will all be worked out I'm sure. But..... for now I'm frustrated.

I just upgraded to 4.0.54.

go to the folder you want to upload TO. press menu button and you'll see "upload" Then you get to choos what type of file. Pick the 1 file you want to upload and it will start uploading.

I couldn't agree with you more Gramps.
I have now been told that WMA is not officially supported by Google/Android, so it probably won't be making a return to the Android Pogoplug App. This means I have to now reencode all my WMA files into MP3's. - Yet More problems that worked perfectly well on the old app.

I don't know if this helps or if you already have it. but here is Pogoplug ver 3.2.1u09 the last working version that I know of. I got it from someone on this forum. Just thought I'd make it convenient.
Works great on my LG optimus with android 2.2.2

BTW I don't know if this works with WMA I only have MP3's
