@jim8650
We just did a quick test on an iPhone 4 running 4.2.2 of the Pogoplug app and successfully scrolled back and forth through a music track during playback. The elapsed time also updated properly.
With any issues with media files, it's important to isolate if the problem exists for all music files are just selected files. In the case of selected files, please make sure you have no issues playing back on your iPhone locally after you've sync'd through iTunes.
If you can't playback even after syncing the same file to your iPhone, this sounds like the actual music file is corrupt.
If you can playback the same music file(s) on your iPhone after copying to it using iTunes but not using the Pogoplug iPhone app, please 'Submit a support ticket' using 'Help Center' at my.pogoplug.com.
They'll likely want a few samples of the problem music files as well.

I have the latest popgoplug desktop software installed on my PC running XP. And I have a Verizon iPhone 4 with the pogoplug app version 4.2.2
When I initially got my pogoplug pro and the iPhone app, there was no way to move back and forth within an audio stream, like you can within the Dropbox app for example.
Then a subsequent update to the app provided this feature.
Now, the slider bar is there, but when you try to move forward, the slider moves and stays where you put it, but instead of jumping ahead in the stream, it starts from teh beginning.
Also, the countdown timer at the right of the slider does not show time properly. Instead of counting down with a display like 48:20, then 48:19 etc., it starts out -0:-00, then -0:-01 etc.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Anyone know what is wrong?
I have the same problem. All the files play perfectly on itunes (downloaded music and ripped music). I can play the files with the app, but I cannot move backwards or forward. Please help.
Thank you!
I still have the problem
if no one else has an answer and replies to this thread, I will probably uninstall my pogoplug and start from scratch to try to fix the problem
very frustrating
