Update:

I can access the Pogoplug share after changing the permissions to 0777.  Here is another issue:

When running pogoplugfs without the sudo command (as the share should be accessible for my user, not root), I am able to access the Pogoplug share, but receive the following error:

fusermount: failed to open /etc/fuse.conf: Permission denied

If I use the sudo command, that error goes away, but then I can no longer access the Pogoplug share, and I am back to the original error.

I have followed the directions for adding the user to the fuser group (atleast as they were explained in these forums.

I am using Ubunut 11.04, the Ubuntu Studio version.

Thanks,

Rick
