Hi Pogopluggers,

I encountering a bug with my Pogoplug where all new files on my Pogoplug connected hard drives show "January 1st 1970 01:00" as metadata. In other words, it's not set.

I remember it being fine before this latest 3.1.1(3.1.0.67) update to get rid of files not copying to and from the drives.

Although it's not a major problem now, I do forsee a problem in the future when I start doing my backups to the Pogoplug drives again.

What do you say, can you plug my pogo?

Thanks in advance,
- Arthur

I am also having this issue.

Hardware: Pogo Plug Pro
software: v4.0.0

Any files that are copied to pogoplug drive changes the date to 1970 it is 2012 currently last I checked. I saw a hack in the forums here (haven't tried yet):

http://www.pogoplugged.com/forum/thread/34192/Wrong-Folder-Dates/

I can use Terminal well, but was scared to try this hack in case this was someone trying to give me a virus or it would mess up my drives somehow...

Anyone else tried this hack so I know its safe to do?

Also will pogoplug be fixing this issue soon without needing a terminal hack?

Fixed so far by doing this:

connect to pogoplug via ssh and type the command below filling in the correct time and date manually

busybox date -s YYYY.MM.DD-hh:mm[:ss]

So, that's
busybox date -s 2012.01.27-23:11 without seconds or
busybox date -s 2012.01.27-23:11:25 with seconds.
