I'm not having a connection issue with Facebook but completely agree with disabling the social sharing options on a shared file. Having the social options on the page completely defeats the purpose of trying to share something privately. I want to share files with my family and it would be too easy for one of them to share the file publicly with the options present.
The Pogoplug PC software popup widow is contantly trying to connect to Facebook when I am trying to share a file or folder with someone. I just want to add their email address in the TO: box, but the lower field that's titled 'Publish a public link to your Facebook friend's wall' is contantly trying to connect to Facebook. This sometimes cause the sharing operation to freeze up. I don't have a Facebook account and never plan to have one. How can I completely disable this feature so that the sharing window isn't constantly trying to find a Facebook account that doesn't exist? I've not enabled Twitter, Facebook, or MySpace under the Pogoplug settings Social Settings. I have a Twitter account, but don't plan to use it to share any files on my Pogoplug. Please advise on how to prevent Sharing from trying to publish a public link. Thanks.
