The Seagate Dockstar originally shipped with one year of cloud service. I've had mine for longer than that but have never been told if the service is now free forever (nor have I been charged)

"The DockStar comes with a one year subscription to Pogoplug and the Pogoplug subscription costs $30 after that."

Why was my comment moved? It was a direct response to another thread.

Oh I saw your reply. Thanks.

I was wondering if it could be free. If it's not free, I could just put data on spideroak.

@Hokeysmoke

Don't worry.

Use of the Pogoplug Service is free for the lifetime of your Dockstar.

If for some reason, this doesn't seem to be the case, please contact Pogoplug Support http://support.pogoplug.com/anonymous_requests/new

Kind Regards,
Christopher
