What happened to the ability to upload files from the phone to my pogoplug. Switching to hte new version does not have this anymore... What the heck...

I used to use this all the time for taking video's and pictures on my phone and now I can't.

I have the same issue, the whole reason I bought this drive with pogoplug was to use it as a way to back up my photos from my phone and to remotely access files as needed. If I can't do these simple tasks the drive is useless to me and my family.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We apologize this feature was omitted from the recent update to the Android app. This version addresses stability issues for a subset of users.

Rest assured this and other cool features will be incorporated in a future update to the Android Pogoplug app.

+1 for "happen soon" comment. Unlimited storage on my phone was the feature which made me buy a Pogoplug in the first place.
I am surely not going to buy another Pogoplug to have my photos stored in two locations until I'm sure this issue is sorted out. And while I'm at it: please update the 64b Linux client too.

Thank You Chris for your reply. My next question I am sure you can anticipate, when do you think the aproximate time frame of the update will reach the market?

Isn't this the whole idea of Pogoplug, to facilitate file transfers and accessibility? And they "omitted" it!! Unbelievable! Might as well ditch the thing and go back to Dropbox.

Am I missing something? I still don't see a way to upload from the phone to Pogoplug. This was the point the OP was making.

version 4.0.2.12 is in the Market now.

With 4.0.2.12, still no upload and unable to delete files/folders.
