yeah I get the same thing...
I get this when I try to copy something to the Pogoplug.
The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003).
Hi All,
While Pogoplug SW does support OSX 10.7 (Lion), there is a known bug preventing copy operations via Finder. We are working on a fix now and hope to have it available soon. In the meantime, you can workaround the problem by copying your files via Terminal, uploading via Pogoplug Web app at my.pogoplug.com, using Active Copy, or copying via a 3rd Party Finder emulator such as PathFinder.
I will post to this forum as soon as there is a fix available. Thanks for your patience on this.

Seid Update auf Lion geht nichts mehr. Erscheint im Router ( AVM 7390 ), aber keine Verbindung. LED > Orange.

We're testing a patch now that fixes the drive app issue. We'll give an update tomorrow.
Since upgrading to Lion, my drives don't even show up in finder anymore (or Forklift for that matter). Although the "Files Shared With Me" still shows up?
Hopefully this will be something fixed with today's patch?
Hi All,
We're still hard at work to get this out to you asap. We'll post in this forum when it is available. Thanks again for your patience.

Not working for me either. I am often not able to login and displayed with an error message saying it cannot connect to Pogoplug at this time with an error. As well, I get an error when logging into the Pogoplug Preferences Pane. It says it is unable to load Pogoplug because of an error. When I am able to login, I cannot copy, move, or transfer files without an error -8003 message... please release an update, Pogoplug! :(

Im getting the same issues... preference pane pops up and refuses to work and when i try to copy a file to the drive it gives me the -8003 error as well, I just hope its resolved soon seeing as how I just got the device yesterday and have been having issues from the moment I got it
Hi Everyone,
We are still working to fully qualify a build with the fix for the OSX 10.7 (Lion) Finder bug with Pogoplug SW, but we have an early preview for anyone who is eager to solve the problem. You can download it at:
http://download.pogoplug.com/install/mac/Pogoplug-Lion-preview.pkg
Please note that this build is a preview and we intend to release a fully qualified version next week. Should you install this build now, let us know of any problems you run into, and we will work to address those problems for the official release.
Also, for anyone reporting problems with Pogoplug Preferences not opening, that issue is not something known to be introduced with OSX 10.7 (Lion), and will not be addressed by this update. If you are experiencing a problem opening Pogoplug Preferences, please submit a ticket at support.pogoplug.com so that our support team can help you resolve it.
Thanks

Hi everyone...I found this article today. Nicky is this the problem use having also? or different.

Apple OS X Lion, NAS Data Issues Widespread; Could Take Weeks to Fix
The network-attached storage (NAS) devices that can't be written to or accessed under Apple's new OS X "Lion" extend beyond Western Digital and have touched Iomega and LaCie, among others, and could take weeks to fix.
Representatives at several storage companies called the problem "widespread" and "industry-wide".
At issue appears to be Apple's decision to upgrade to DHX2 authentication within its Netatalk 2.2. That has left users trying to back up or access files with Time Machine on the affected NAS devices - which use an older version of Netatalk - unable to do so, and has prompted errors while trying to access files.
Western Digital reported the issue on Thursday, and said that the company was withouta workaround while it constructed a fix. But NAS providers LaCie and Iomegahave also added support pages in the meantime, essentially saying the same thing.
A spokeswoman for Western Digital said Thursday night that a fix would take weeks. "This is not an issue geared just at WD, but an industry-wide issue with NAS devices in general," she wrote in an email. "It is not specific to WD. We will be supporting OSX Lion Time Machine with an update in the next few weeks. Support for OSX Lion Time Machine has been more complicated and has taken the industry longer than expected based on the changes that Apple made to their Apple file protocol."
Iomega also said that it needed to issue a StorCenter firmware upgrade for its NAS devices. "Iomega is working through the same OS X Lion Time Machine issues as other NAS providers that include Mac compatibility," a spokesman said in an email. "In Lion, Apple has discontinued support for DHX authentication which is what almost all NAS vendors use for AFP / Time Machine (Via netatalk).
"We expect to have a firmware upgrade in the offing but I am unable to give you a specific date," the Iomega spokesman added.
LaCie representatives were unable to be reached at press time, although a support representative contacted by PCMag.com said he expected a fix "sooner than later," he said. "I don't know exactly when it;s cming, but it could be as early as next month. It's generated a lot of calls."
LaCie's OS X Lion support page notes that many LaCie consumer and professional drives, such as the Network Space 2, Network Space MAX, Wireless Space, d2 Network 2, 2big Network 2,and 5big Network 2, among others, can't be accessed via Apple's Time Machine.
Synology has also begun offering a beta drivrer which apparently fixes the problem with its drives.

I just installed 3.1.1 (3.1.0.67) preview, and it still isn't working for me. Attempting to copy files to the drive gives me a "Not enough free space" error message. :(
Instead of having everyone submit a ticket for the "Pogoplug Preferences not opening" issue, why not work to fix it since you have numerous people who are having the same problem. Strange how it worked before Lion and not after, must be an "LION ISSUE"!!!! And also why is there no uninstall link on your website for mac?
@AAPullins,
There are a subset of users that experience a problem opening Pogoplug Preferences both in Snow Leopard and in Lion. The nature of the problem is such that for most of these users, the problem is easily solved, but needs to happen on a case by case basis. We have already taken measures in our service and in the latest software to help prevent the bug from occurring for more users, but for those users already in a state such that they run into the problem (mostly users upgrading from 3.0.1), contacting support is the best way to resolve the issue.
You can read more about this issue and the users who were able to resolve it by looking at the following thread:

@MacMonkey,
I have a few questions for you, since we are unable to reproduce that problem here with 3.1.1:
- What kind of Mac are you using?
- What kind of Pogoplug device are you trying to copy to (e.g. Pogoplug Pro, Pogoplug SW Windows, etc.), and what is the file system of the drive to which you are copying?
- Are you running Pogoplug Software 3.1.1 in multi-drive or single drive mode, and does behavior change for you if you toggle the option "Show a separate drive for each Pogoplug drive" in the Drive tab of Pogoplug Preferences?

Same issue. Since I upgraded to Mac OSX Lion, I can't write to or from my USB Pogoplug attached drives. I receive a -8003 error code. Drive mounts OK, I can read the content, I even can upload or download files through web access, but not from Finder.
MacBook Pro 2011, Pogoplug wifi but attached directly to a router (doesn't work well on wifi...)
Issue with ANY kind of files trying to copy. Pogoplug app 3.1.0.65. No way to fix it...
;o((
I'm using Terminal command line : cp" "-R" "source file" "target (with spaces but without the quotes) , and it seems to work. This is a free solution (PathFinder is commercial...) but not really user friendly...

MacBook Pro 13-inch, Mid 2009
Pogoplug Pro
HFS+
Running single drive mode
I tried switching to separate drives, but still got the "out of free space" message. I checked console and found the following message: 7/24/11 10:08:05.227 AM ReclaimSpaceAgent: Attempting to recover 92526480479271 free space on volume /Volumes/Pogoplug WD Drive/Charles's Folder, operation UUID: (null)
