I bought and set up a pogoplug with a brand new, freshly formatted (NTFS) Fantom 2TB external drive hooked up via USB directly to the pogoplug. My pogolug is then connected to my cable modem/router via ethernet cable. When I go to the My Pogoplug website, it maps all the drives and data on my windows 7 PC, but it does not show the Fantom external drive. When I go to Windows Explorer, and try to move folders over to the Fantom drive to be shared with others (I don't feel comfortable sharing directly from my computer's C drive), the drive says that I need Administrator privileges, and then nothing happens.
My goal was to move my pictures, videos and music to the fantom drive, which is hooked directly to the pogoplug, and set access rights for myself and family members WITH THAT DRIVE ONLY. Now, I seem to have the opposite situation... access through my computer's C drive, and no access or recognition of the external drive via the Pogoplug software. What am I doing wrong??
