Hello all,
I have rather a strange problem concerning my Asus K72J Laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. This beast has twin hard drives, the system drive is a 128gb SSD with a 320gb drive as storage. I also have two download folders, one on C (SSD) and one on D. Downloads through Firefox go to C and everything else goes to D.
I also have a pink Pogoplug and each time I boot the laptop and Pogoplug signs me in login details appear in D/Downloads as per below.
,jr,xxxxxxx,,192.168.0.3,,0
This appears at the top of the D/Downloads list as a folder with the above name. No matter how many times I delete this it always comes back! The password is not the one I use for Pogoplug but is a password that is used for another home server I have running Freenas.
I have Avira Pro and have run numerous scans including Sophos Rootkit and Malwarebytes in Safe Mode. Nothing has shown up but there is obviously something copying login details to my hard drive and it is started by Pogoplug.
Needless to say this is a bit of a security concern!
Anybody else seen this or have any idea as to why it is happening?
Cheers
Jerry

Strange! Straight after writing the above post I went into my Downloads folder and for the first time the login details aren't there!
I did play about with router settings last night though and I wonder have I inadvertently fixed the problem.
Still interested to know if anyone else has seen the same?
