I a have a CDMA iPhone 4 (4.2.8) with the pogoplug app (4.2.1).

I have a drive with 36,000+ songs on it, I cannot get the pogoplug app to index any more than around 6700, 6800 of those files. I have deleted and reinstalled several times.

Additionally, the metadata for those songs are correct and complete with artwork however it appears that the pogoplug only reads portions of it, some artist show up as unnamed and only about 30% of the art work is visible.

Any Ideas?

Same Problem on my iPad, but indexing stops at 2519 songs.

Same for me on iPod touch and iPad... Only Approximately 2400 songs were indexing and not the best... So now my pogo plug is kind of useless...
Isn't possible to imagine on the next update to be able to choose our main music folder ?

I had same issue and was informed by pogoplug that it can only index 16000 songs, other issues I noticed was that if you have a track with the same name it doesn't index . Therefore I have had to rename some song I.e just added extra character to filename. I have also started to drag folders etc onto a clean drive and indexed them after I transfer over several folders. So far I am getting it to index correctly have done 10079 songs so far but will be interesting to see what happens when I get near 16000 I suspect it will just stop indexing and you will need to open file through the drive view.

Appears that if you try and index more than 16000 in one go the device just fails to index..

Just to dredge this thread up again... I still have the same problem with the index limit, so I wanted to know: Is this a device limitation (i.e. would a newer Pogoplug or a firmware update fix it?), or is this a software limitation (and would a software upgrade fix it?)?

My primary use for the Pogoplug was to stream my music library, but 16,000 songs ain't gonna cut it...
