I noticed this problem too! Even though I'd added the external hard drives into allowing remote access's folders in preference, my macbook pro would not be able to see the external hard drives.I don't know if this is the problem of hbplug isn't working and my mac cannot register with Pogoplug version 3.1 or it's just a different situation completely. Anyone else has a solution?

I have the pink pogoplug, but have not used it in a while. Yesterday, I downloaded the new software and am really impressed, but I have a question.
I have a macmini connected to my tv. This macmini has all of the music, movies, and photos stored on an external drive. When I installed the pogoplug software onto the macmini, it appeared to only share the local music, movies, documents, and photo folders from the home directory. This does not help me much because these are empty. Does the pogoplug software only read local disks? Or, is there a setting that I am missing that will allow the pogoplug software to see out into my attached external drive?
Thanks in advance for any help or insight on this matter. :)
