I have copied all of my music from my computer to my portable hard drive and then plugged into my Pogoplug. When I browse the drive I notice there are desktop.ini files in almost every folder as well as thumbs.db files. If I then play an mp3 from the Pogoplug drive the album artwork is somehow extracted from the file and I end up with a series of jpgs in the same directory called albumartsmall.jpg and other random names. This is causing a lot of clutter on my disk and I would like to know if there is a way to stop it.

It does not display these files if I run the mp3s of my local C drive nor does it have any of the desktop.ini files in there to begin with so I’m guessing it’s the Pogoplug creating them.

I’m running Windows 7 home 64bit with Pogoplug 3.0.3 Software (I also have “don’t show hidden files” selected in folder options)

Any help would be appreciated.
