Alan Wolf said: In the previous generation of Pogoplug software, it was really easy to define an active copy. You selected directories you wanted to active copy from your local computer drives as the source and then the PogoPlug drive as the target and it just worked. Now, after I have shared my local directories on my computers, when I try to define an active copy the sourcve directoriews on my local computer do not show up only my PogoPlug mounted drives so there is no way to sync my local drives to pogoplug drives? Now I can no longer use Pogoplug drives for dynbamic backyup but must perform a local backup and then copy to the pogoplug drives I want to back up to. I no longer realize one of the primary objectives for having a pgoplug which is to maintain up to date backup copies of files accross all of my computers ;-(
Hi Alan,
Let me try to help you out.
If your computer installs and Pogoplug devices are all activated with the same email, then via the 'Backup' tab, Active Copy is designed to access your computer's 'Remote Access' folders.
Do your computer's 'Remote Access' folders appear under the 'Files' tab at my.pogoplug.com? If so, your computer and not your 'Remote Access' folder should appear on the left as a Pogoplug device in the Active Copy window. If this isn't the case, I do suggest you submit a Support ticket; click 'Help Center' and 'Submit a support ticket'.
