I thought I had come across some of the more obscure pogoplug artifacts, that is until this evening.  I learned something about a green blinking light.  I learned that a printer is handled like a diskdrive (terminology?).

I have had this green blinking light on the front of the BIZ for about eight (8) hours, or more.  I tried using "search" on the support webSite to locate what it might be.  I never could get the search to produce any results. I should have known "light" would be the obvious correct choice of keyword to use.

What I found was:

What do the colors of the light behind the Pogoplug icon on my Pogoplug device mean?

The LED on your Pogoplug can tell you at a glance the status of your device. When you plug your Pogoplug in the LED should:

Flash Green --> Turn off momentarily --> Turn Solid Green

If your LED ends in a flashing or solid amber state, your Pogoplug is unable to contact our servers. Please try using a different ethernet cable or router port. If you are setting up your Pogoplug for the first time, or have recently moved it to a different location, please view our troubleshooting article here.

A flashing green LED indicates there is a message waiting for one or more of your attached drives. Login to my.pogoplug.com and select the blue information icon near your attached drive(s) to view the message.

Actually, the "blue information icon" was situated to the right of the unsupported printer (PrintersTAB) on the client network that the pogoplug easily discovers when it is almost totally incapable of discovering a printer directly attached by USB cable to the Pogoplug.

I had to click the "blue information icon" to get a screen that gave me the opportunity to clear the message that I could not print to the discovered client network printer which, finally, caused the dismissal of the very annoying green blinking light on the front of the BIZ.

I presume that the Pink pogoplugs may also have this capability to blink if a printer has a message for the human?

I am guessing everyone knew this but me!
