So I wanted to make a serial cable for my pink pogoplug. I looked at http://www.pogoplugged.com/forum/thread/12366/Pins-for-the-two-connectors-on-... to find out where the serial port was and its pinout; mine looks like the one without the pinouts silk screened to the board (ground closer to the JTAG connector, then RXD and TXD). And then built a cable to connect to the same CA-42 cable I use with my Dockstars. And then I got nothing... as in the plug would not boot. If I disconnected the 4 pin connector, I would boot. Rather annoying...
