When I copy files to an external hard drive attached to my Pogoplug,  the date/time stamp of the files that I copy changes to today's date.  I thought if you copied a file from disk A to disk B, all of the file attributes (including date / time stamp) stayed the same.  Am I missing something here?

I feel stupid.

Pogoplug support answered as follows:

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, that is the way that Pogoplug handles files at this time. We have received several requests to change this and we may add an option to do so in a future update. For now there is no ETA on the change.

Affected multi-port Pogoplugs including pink Pogoplug, Biz, all black Pogoplug, Mobile and Series 4 have been updated to firmware version 3.2.5. You can double-check it on the Settings page at my.pogoplug.com.

This should resolve time stamp issues on newly created files/folders, but previous files/folders will have to be manually corrected (it won't retroactively make the corrections)
