Pogoplug does recognice my HP officejet G55 printer. When I push the button print it looks like pogoplug is printing. It says the job is done, but the printer doesn't print. Can you solve the problem?

Kindly Regards

Robert Lichtenberg

Good luck! In my case, different printer: essentially the same issue that I have though.

Some in support say if it is an HP printer after 2005 it should work. Others say that your printer is probably not in the list. Some say to connect your printer to your pogoplug via a USB connection (network, in Pogo speak is on the server side rather than on the client side where we reside in the schema of things).

Of course, connecting your printer via USB cable will not necessarily work either.

Send your issue to support@pogoplug.com.

The more folks that notify them that "all" epsom and HP printers made since 2005 is a misnomer the greater the possibility that the printer issue will be moved higher in their "fix" queue so that all of us will be able to print in the near future.

My printing feature never worked either (PogoplugPro), I tried it all kinds of ways, emailing, right from the web-interface, over the internet using the integrated software. I had network printers hooked up or via USB, it recognizes the printers and even leaves a remark that the job had been printed in the print queue. Now with the new version (4.0.x) of the software on my computer (Mac OSX Snow Leopard) it does not even show the printers available anymore even though they are visible in the web-interface as they were before. I have talked to tech support and they have no answers, they just excuse it with being still in beta version. It has been in Beta for a year now!!!and the fact that there is no trace of printing problems in their help databank. You can tell i am getting frustrated...but it seems like there will be no fix anytime soon, besides i have never heard from anyone that printing worked. It was one of the major reasons why i bought the darn thing.
