I have seen a few threads regarding TrueEncrypt and PP, however some of them seem contradictory.

My question is if on my desktop (My Desktop) I encrypt all my pictures, music, etc.. and then tell PP to set up an active copy of my Desktop (copy from My Desktop to the P drive) will this work ? 

Note I have a Seagate Flex GoNet along with the PP software.  What would the difference be in using SSL vs TrueEncrypt ?
