Hi, I am considering purchasing a second pogoplug for my office (personal use).  Would it be possible to setup active copy from my home pogoplug to my office pogoplug?  I have installed the pogoplug software on my work PC and active copy doesn't work from the office to the home pogoplug.

It should work, if you have the devices all on the same account. Active Copy should work both Pogoplug Pogoplug or between drives on the same Pogoplug, or from Desktop to Desktop, and so on.

Is active copy suppose to work from my work PC to my pogoplug at home or do I have to have one at work also?

Hey Stefan, did you try it yet? Curious to know if it worked.

Greetings,

I have not been able to make this work between my two pogoplugs which are at different locations.

I have it set up, but it errors out instantly. :( Very disheartening.

Right now I'm using synctoy. It works, but I would RATHER use active-copy which would make the sync autonomous of a PC. I don't like having to have a PC involved to make the two pogoplug's sync.

Thanks for the reply. I bought a second one also (I got a classic on sale) only to discover that my work network wouldn't allow it access to the internet making it useless for those purposes. Good to know that it didn't really matter if it could. I think I am going to hack my V2. I am so sick of the crappy desktop software.
