I've owned several Android phones over the past few years and all of them had (and still have) the ability to share media while browing the media gallery. I would love for "Share to Pogoplug" to be one of the options I see in the menu. For example, after I snap a photo on my phone, I see a brief preview of the image I took and a "share" and "delete" button pop-up under the image preview. When I tap "share", can you make it so that the Pogoplug shows up as an option there? This would save quite a bit of time and frustration.

You are right: the app needs this option.

In Pogoplug settings, go to "Upload Settings"
Select the folder you wish to designate for files from your Android device.
Then when you click on share from the gallery (or wherever) share the file via e-mail and send it to "upload@mypogoplug.com". As long as the e-mail comes from your registered pogoplug address it should go to that folder.

Unfortunately, if someone spoofs your address as the sender and sends a file to "upload@mypogoplug.com" it will also go to your folder. So, while it will enable you to share via e-mail to your pogoplug folder, it is also a security risk. Pogoplug should implement a unique e-mail recipient address @mypogoplug.com for each user that should also require the correct sender address in order to help prevent security problems.

This is a decent idea for a temporary fix, however, I would like something more flexibility than that. I want to be able to tap "Share with Pogoplug" then the Pogoplug directories appear and I can lead the file to the desired directory. Right now, I have several file types that I upload to different directories from my phone (pictures, songs, .apk files, etc). I suppose I could take your suggestion then just create a few subdirectories and drag and drop on my desktop when I get home. Not a bad idea actually!

This info is not correct, you can only choose a drive not a folder. I would like to see that changed too.
