I am having the exact opposite issue. Mine is working fine on 2 Windows 7 64 bit laptops and is working fine on one of my XP Pro laptops. However when installing on the last XP Pro laptop, I received the warning that the XCETAPO Adaptor is not Windows Logo approved. I continued anyway and now that laptop crashes and DrWatson(s) when running Pogoplug v3.0.3.
Ive been struggling with getting the new 3.0.2 software on a Windows 7 64bit machine with a Linksys E2000 router for some time. The main issue is that the shares just do not work. Ive had a ticket open for a couple weeks and have had no useful responses.
Im no networking guru but it seems to lie in the fact that the software creates a second network that windows does not recognize. This network shows a XCETAPO adapter and does not have DHCP enabled. Here is a screen shot. Can anybody shed light on this?
I am working with the soft on Windows 7 x64 and everything works, maybe you have some firewall/antivirus installed on your Windows 7 system that you don't have installer on Windows XP.
In my case it isn't a firewall or antivirus issue. Im running windows 7 Ultimate on an I7 1156 socket and a gigabit lan. Maybe your running older hardware that interfaces differently with the OS. But rest assured my ticket is still open and no solution has been suggested. Ive resorted to keeping it on the XP machine for now. Chances are it will die with that machine eventually.
Maybe you need to change the pogoplug to home network instead of work network?
Below are my settings. I didn't do anything special to get it to work. The pogoplug adapter always says unplugged but I think thats the way its suppose to work.

This thread is related to the premium software, not the actual Pogo plug hardware.
The issue is related to viewing and accessing folder on the Windows 7 machine.
It appears as if your setup is utilizing a pogoplug, plugged into your network... Never had an issue with setting up the actual plug hardware...this is all about the new software.

Update. It appears as if the software is not ready for windows 7 64bit at all. I tried everything and tech support couldn't help either. The end result is: after I installed on the windows xp machine on the same network it seems to be working. Fingers crossed.
Windows 7 64bit ( no go )
XP Pro ( good to go )
