I would love to have multiple user accounts with their own login and give access to specific folders. Re-sending a link every time they expire is inconvenient. Other than that it's great and does exactly what we need!

Have you checked out the Pogoplug Biz? It allows you to do exactly what you're looking for.

oh... so it's just a pricier feature.. I don't use it for a business just at home. yeah, probably just stick with what I have, inconvient or not I can't see spending that much simply to not have to send my kids a link every couple weeks lol

From the Sharing help section - If the share recipient assigns a password to their account, the shared files will not have an expiration date and be available for as long as you continue to grant them access.

I just discovered the sharing feature in regular PogoPlug software. Previously I had been logging in as myself on all the machines in my house, but now I realize I can just share specific folders to my children's email addresses and they can configure PP on their machines to just access their directories.

Kinda like Biz, but without the quotas.

One request I have, though, is that we have a better way to identify the directories that are being shared. For example, if I share a folder called 'Documents' from my laptop and another called 'Documents' from the PP itself, the recipient machine gets very confused. Sometimes when you open one shared folder (this is in Windows) you get the first share, sometimes the second.

Maybe if there was some way to give the share a unique name?
