Files in the same folder disapear and files in other folders.

It is very frustrating......

I had a similar problem when I saved PDF files directly to my Seagate Dockstar. I could save the file, open it up from the DS for a few minutes and then it would not disappear, but would rather get corrupted so that I could not open it any longer.

Problem woul dgo away fi I first saved it to my desktop and then copied it to the DS or if I used Adobe Acrobat Reader instead of Preview on the Mac to save the file.

I had already saved all pdf's to my local mac and uploaded everything to the hard disk connected to the pogo.
My problem is that when I upload one file, sometimes another file disapears and if I upload that file again, a lot of times the first file disapears.....
I have a lot of folders filled with lots of files, so it is hard to keep checking if all the files are still there when I am uploading.

Update:
I checked the hd by connecting it directly to my mac and the files are really gone.....They are not just invissible on the Pogo website.

Somehow the problem is solved by using Google Chrome.....strange, but when I use Firefox file disappear and with Google Chrome all goes well.
It took a lot of patience to try where what problem was.
Simple solution, although the browser should not make the difference, Pogo mentions all the browsers in the specs.

I have tried a lot of things:
different browsers (safari, firefox, chrome, opera), different opperatingsystems (mac 10.5, 10.6, windows) and different drive formats. All accoording to the specs on the website.
But non of this solved the problem of the disappearing files and Pogo sent me another pogoplug.
But after a first try it was clear that the problem still remains with the second pogoplug......

have the same problem!!!
really very frustrating.

my setup should be 100% compatible and i reconnected the system more than a few times -- but my files are still disappearing while moving them via pogoplug.

this is so buggy! and support doesn't answer more than "have you tried to reconnect ... bla bla". the only way i found to still use my pogoplug (instead of trashing it) is to always copy -- instead of moving -- the files. because if they get lost the first time copying; you still have a backup; and sometimes it works the second or third try.
but i am tired of all those companys who wanna make profit etc. in recruiting their customers to engineers. i don't also want to become a chemist when just buying a hair shampoo ...

gotdamnfixitpleasebuthurryup!
because i already payed for it,

Have you disabled the pogoplug processing options under the media tab of the web interface for this drive/s?

We just stop using the pogoplug. It has taken us so much time to try and try over and over again........and the problems remain.
So it is cheaper to just leave the pogo unused and go on with your normal work.
